EducAide Phone Helpline
Meet Mitchell Smet and Nicole Cousineau, two former education professionals with a deep commitment to helping parents advocate for their children’s educational needs. With years of experience in schools, they understand the complexities of navigating the educational system, especially when working with school boards to secure the proper support and resources for children with special needs.
Now, through their online platform, Mitchell and Nicole offer a unique phone-based support service designed specifically for parents. They provide guidance on creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs); addressing challenges in school board Identification, Placement, and Review Committee (IPRC); and ensuring that every child receives the education they deserve.
With their blend of professional expertise and personal passion, Mitchell and Nicole empower parents to become confident advocates. Whether it’s preparing for discussions with educators, understanding legal rights, or finding effective communication strategies, they are here to help parents navigate the system with clarity and confidence. If required, they are also available to go with parents to any meeting(s) regarding the child’s education needs.
